78th District Court sentencings.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Stella Lynn Hajdu, 32, of 1159 W. McKinley Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty Oct. 3 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $840 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.
– Gloria Diaz, 45, of 616 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; AHSE; and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.
– Robert Bernard Moore, 44, of 7105 S. Driftwood Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty Oct. 3 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; AHSE; and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of operating while intoxicated and transporting open intoxicants were dismissed.
– Yaneli Trujillo, 28, of 188 Walnut St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 180 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating under the influence of liquor with an occupant under 16 years and one count of failure to display a valid license were dismissed.
– Megan Marie Schrauben, 26, of 7850 Dawn Dr., Portland, Michigan, was found guilty Oct. 3 of reckless driving and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated dismissed.
– Bryan Andrew Mellema, 23, of 130 Wildflower St., NE, Comstock Park, Michigan, was found guilty Aug. 29 of operating while impaired and was sentenced Oct. 3 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated dismissed.
– Justyn Taylor Jeffrey, 18, of 8602 Robinhood Dr., Montague, was found guilty Oct. 3 of possession of marijuana and was sentenced to nine days in jail; six months probation; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $525 in fines and costs. Defendant was on probation at the time of the offense, according to his court file.
– Edward James Cantu, 33, of 1507 E. Mill Rd., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.
– Carlos Jimenez, 41, of 1237 Baker Dr., Kalamazoo, was found guilty Oct. 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.
– Donte Lamont Cooper, 33, of 2233 Howden St., Muskegon Heights, was found guilty Oct. 4 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Anthony James Pless, 26, of 8359 W. 1 Mile Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Oct. 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.
