Snowblowers chained outside of business stolen.

NEWFIELD TOWNNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two new snowblowers from Burrell’s Service Center located at 3916 S. 198th Ave., just outside of Hesperia.

“During the morning of October 4, the staff at Burrell’s noticed that overnight someone had stolen two Simplicity snowblowers that were chained outside of the business,” states a press release from the sheriff’s office. “Missing are one Simplicity Model 7522R valued at $450, which is orange in color, and one Simplicity Model M1024E, which is valued at $1,050 and is also orange in color.

Anyone with information about the location of the missing property or about who may have taken snowblowers is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (231) 873-2121.
