HART — The following were sentenced this week in 78th District Court:

– Jude Robert Maguire, 28, of 5020 W. Water Rd., New Era, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BSC) was dismissed.

– Brenda Faye Myers, 57, of 8033 E. Baker Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Thomas Foster Kent, 48, of 1638 N. Ridge Rd., Mears, was found guilty Sept. 19 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Roy James Alltop, 45, of 1158 E. Clock Rd., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Gerard Everett Stapel, 33, of 444 W. Chadwick Dr., Muskegon, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to six days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; six months probation; not to purchases/possess a firearm; subject to testing, counseling and searches as required by probation; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; no contact with probationers or felons; and $1,680 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Allison Shirley Swan, 34, of 1005 Custer Rd., Custer, was found guilty Sept. 19 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.

– Dakota Isiah Ramirez, 22, of 3677 Circle Dr., Apt. 14, Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 20 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $325 in fines and costs.

– Aaron Richard Peoples, 22, of 336 N. 144th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 20 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.

– Michael Lee Terryn, 44, of 2721 N. 64th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 20 of violating a township noise ordinance and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $160 in fines and costs.

– Daniel Balderas, 21, of 613 E. Adams Rd., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 19 to breaking and entering – illegal entry and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $400 in fines and costs. One count of second-degree home invasion was dismissed.
