HART — The following were sentenced this week in 78th District Court:

– Candice Elizabeth Harper, 27, of 551 Goddard, Wyandotte, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 13 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) dismissed.

– Sara Jessica Thomas, 25, of 8030 Lumberjack Dr., Mears, was found guilty Sept. 14 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $445 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed. Thomas was found guilty in a separate file of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders and credit for time served if imposed. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed. Convictions reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Alixan China Spaulding, 28, of 4499 16 Mile Rd., Apt. B, Cedar Springs, was found guilty Sept. 13 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 92 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Amarpreet Singh Multani, 42, of 16706 Pond Creek, Spring Lake, was found guilty Sept. 6 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.

– Eric James Flores, 22, of 2110 Lebourdais, Linwood, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 14 of trespassing and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $300 in fines and costs.
