The Oceana County Republicans will take a campaign van on the road to eight communities in Oceana County over the next seven weeks.

The mobile campaign headquarters loaded with Republican candidates’ yard signs and literature will be in a different community each Friday morning. Members will park the campaign van in a downtown location in each community at the times listed below. The van will be in both New Era and Stony Lake Sept. 30.

HART: Friday, Sept. 16, 7:30-11 a.m.

PENTWATER: Friday, Sept. 23, 9:30-11 a.m.

STONY LAKE: Friday, Sept. 30, 7:30-11 a.m. (in the parking area on Scenic Drive)

NEW ERA: Friday, Sept. 30, 9-11 a.m.

SHELBY: Friday, Oct. 7, 8-11 a.m.

MEARS: Friday, Oct. 14, 8-11 a.m.

HESPERIA: Friday, Oct. 21, 8–11 a.m.

WALKERVILLE: Friday, Oct. 28, 8–11 a.m.

Local and state candidates will be with the van when their schedules allow. Bob Carr is coordinating the Mobile Campaign Headquarters. To volunteer to help or for more information, call Carr at 231-728-3455.

The next monthly meeting of the Oceana County Republican Executive Committee is Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Golden Eatery in Mears. The October meeting will be at Morat’s Bakery and Pub in New Era Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m.
