HART — Amador Estrada, Jr., 20, of 249 W. North Ave., Walkerville, was arraigned in 78th District Court this week on a misdemeanor charge of breaking and entering – illegal entry without owner’s permission in connection to an incident earlier this month that involved a resident in the 400 block of Union Street in the City of Hart finding Estrada allegedly passed out on his couch.

The resident woke up Aug. 7 at 8:45 a.m. to find an intoxicated stranger sleeping on his couch, said Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.

The house was unlocked, the chief said. Estrada was also arrested for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP).

His bail was set at $2,500/personal, and he is scheduled for a pretrial Aug. 31 at 4 p.m.
