Man, 26, dies in Silver Lake.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — A 26-year-old Shelby Township (Macomb County) man died Saturday, Aug. 13, in Silver Lake while “participating in a water sport,” said Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Craig Mast.

The man died “from what appears to be a medical situation while he was participating in a water sport,” Mast said. “We believe it was a medical situation that caused his death.”
