HART — A homeowner in the 400 block of Union Street woke up Sunday, Aug. 7, at 8:45 a.m. to find a man, who allegedly was intoxicated, sleeping on his couch who he did not know, said Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.
The house was unlocked, the chief said. The suspect, a 20-year-old Walkerville man, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP), and the police report has been submitted to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office to pursue a possible charge of illegal entry, Salazar said.
