HART — A homeowner in the 400 block of Union Street woke up Sunday, Aug. 7, at 8:45 a.m. to find a man, who allegedly was intoxicated, sleeping on his couch who he did not know, said Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.

The house was unlocked, the chief said. The suspect, a 20-year-old Walkerville man, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP), and the police report has been submitted to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office to pursue a possible charge of illegal entry, Salazar said.

Monday, Aug. 8, 2016:

• 1:30 a.m., a 26-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 4000 block of West Polk Road.

Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016:

• 5 p.m., two-car crash, no injuries, Hart City Hall parking lot.
