SHELBY TOWNSHIP — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is investigating a case of child pornography reported Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 5:30 p.m.

The following is other recent police activity:

Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016:

• 9:46 p.m., (MSP), a 41-year-old Shelby man was arrested for transporting open intoxicants and on a bench warrant for failure to appear, Oceana Drive and M-20, Shelby Township.

• 11:42 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 36-year-old Whitehall man was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated, Roosevelt Road near 184th Avenue, Greenwood Township.

Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016:

• 9 a.m., (MSP), identity theft, fraudulent use of a Verizon account, Hart Township.
