HART — The following were sentenced this week in 27th Circuit Court:

Timothy Lee Veltman, 32, of 5650 S. Oceana Dr., New Era, was pleaded “no contest” May 23 to unarmed robbery. Veltman was sentenced July 18 to serve five months upfront of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 101 days served; two years probation; no contact with victims; may not enter the Mitt Stop gas station in Shelby or be within 500 of it; and $400 in fines and costs.

Nicholas John Erickson, 38, of 69 S. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty May 16 of assault with a weapon/felonious assault and was sentenced July 18 to one year in jail with credit for 81 days served; two years probation; no contact with the victim; $3679.15 in restitution, which is joint and several with co-defendant Fred Tanner, Jr.; and $400 in fines and costs.

June 6 to assault with a weapon/felonious assault and was sentenced July 18 to one year in jail with credit for 55 days served; two years probation; no contact with the victim; $3679.15 in restitution, which is joint and several with co-defendant Nicholas Erickson; and $400 in fines and costs. First-degree home invasion, felony firearms and possession of firearms were dismissed.

Wesley Owen Pulsipher, 44, of 235 Sessions Rd., Shelby, was found guilty May 25 of third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced July 18 to serve 60 days upfront of an 11-month discretionary jail term with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; and $758 in fines and costs.
