COLFAX TOWNSHIP — Over $2,500 was stolen from the cash register tills during a break-in of the River City Inn, at 8347 E. Washington Road in the Ruby Creek area.
According to Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Craig Mast, the break-in occurred in the early morning hours Sunday, July 10. “Later that morning at 9 a.m., employees found the tills emptied of cash,” Mast said.
The sheriff’s office is not releasing any further information at this time. “We have some leads,” Mast said.
