The following is recent police activity:

Wednesday, July 6, 2016:

• 12:51 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 19-year-old Fowlerville man was cited for improper plate, 400 block of Lighthouse Drive, Golden Township.

• 3 p.m., (Hart Police Department), a purse that was left briefly in front of a downtown business in the City of Hart was stolen. The purse contained $100 cash and debit and credit cards.

Thursday, July 7, 2016:

• 3:55 a.m., (HPD), alarm activation, Wilbur Ellis, 2797 N. Oceana Dr., City of Hart.

• 6:40 a.m., (HPD), gas drive-off, $32.43 in fuel stolen, BP gas station, 223 State St., City of Hart.

• 7:28 p.m., (MSP), a 51-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for violating a restricted license, Stony Lake Road, Claybanks Township.
