NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is investigating a breaking and entering reported Tuesday, July 5, 3:21 p.m. in the 7000 block of M 20.

  • 11:30 a.m., a 24-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for improper transport of medical marijuana, Oceana Drive and Hogan Road, Pentwater Township.

Saturday, July 2, 2016:

  • 11:45 a.m., one-car crash, no injuries, US 31 and Skeels Road, Grant Township.
  • 1:21 p.m., hit-and-run crash, no injuries, 3000 block of 80th Avenue, Shelby Township.
  • 5:05 p.m., operating without insurance and littering, a 54-year-old Hart man and a 30-year-old Shelby woman were arrested, State and Harrison roads, Shelby Township.

Sunday, July 3, 2016:

  • 10:17 a.m., a 27-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for second- offense driving while license suspended, US 31 and Taylor Road, Hart Township.
  • 12:55 p.m., vehicle crash involving minor injuries, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township.
  • 10 p.m., car/deer crash, Hammett Road and 60th Avenue, Pentwater Township.
