HESPERIA — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office was sent to a rural area near Hesperia to investigate an illegal dumping complaint Tuesday, June 28, and the responding deputy found someone had dumped what appears to be a stolen set of construction scaffolding, also known as a “pick,” said Lt. Craig Mast.

Some of the sections have some numbers on them. The sheriff’s office is not aware of any recently-stolen scaffolding, Mast said. “If anyone is missing this equipment and would be able to describe it, they may be able to recover it.” Contact the sheriff’s office at (231) 873-2121.
