HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Kara Frances Johnson, 25, of 5900 Water Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty June 27 of operating while impaired and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Terrance Joshua Swan, 25, of 209 S. 2nd St., Burr Oak, Michigan, was found guilty June 27 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $440 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Marie Julianne Sawdy, 32, of 2725 Forrest Lane, Lot 2, Rothbury, was found guilty May 23 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced June 27 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Brian Keith Wallington, 48, of 6902 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, was found guilty June 27 of operating while impaired and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Lisa Marie Posma, 23, of 3936 W. Kistler Rd., Ludington, was found guilty June 21 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion for one year and $290 in fines and costs.
– Louie Martinez, 55, of 1835 Spencer Dr., Muskegon, was found guilty June 21 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion for one year and $290 in fines and costs.
– Scott Allen Robeck, 25, of 3777 E. Loop Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty June 27 of operating without insurance and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS and one count of unlawful use of license plates were dismissed.
– Abdiel Guereca, 20, of 354 State St., Shelby, was found guilty June 27 of operating without insurance and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful use of license plates and one count of operating an unregistered vehicle were dismissed.
