GRANT TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Lakes of Fire festival at Lucky Lake Campground Sunday, June 19, for a report of a missing 29-year-old Southfield, Michigan man, according to the press release from the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.
The campground, which has a small lake known as Lucky Lake, is located in the northwest corner of US 31 and Winston Road.
Guests that were attending the festival, which is a division of the Burning Man festival, report one of their fellow campers is missing. Matthew Vo had been at the festival Saturday evening, June 18, but has not been seen since early Sunday morning. Vo’s vehicle is still at the Lucky Lake Campground, and he has not been seen since.
Vo is described as 5’11” and 120 pounds and was last known to be wearing a teal colored T-shirt and dark gray shorts with slip-on shoes.
