HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:
– Timothy James Davis, 26, of 509 E. Church St., Hart, was found guilty April 18 of attempted common law fraud and sentenced June 6 to serve 165 days forthwith of a one-year discretionary jail term; 18 months probation; $400 in fines and costs; and $154.81 in restitution payable to the Ludington Wesco. The sentence runs consecutively to cases that he is currently on parole for in Oceana, Jackson, Newaygo.
– Aaron Michael Seelman, 27, of 163 Farmer’s Alley, Kalamazoo, was found guilty June 6 of use of a non-narcotic. He received an amended
sentence of 15 days forthwith of a six-month discretionary jail term with credit for 15 days served and driver’s license suspended six months with a restricted license after 30 days. He received an amended sentence due to withdrawing his plea, according to court records. He completed all terms of the plea agreement made in January of 2014 and was able to withdraw his plea of guilty of possession of a non-narcotic and enter a lesser plea of use of a non-narcotic.
