Shelby man allegedly flees police while driving drunk.

PENTWATER TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Shelby man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post on charges of fleeing and eluding police and operating while intoxicated Saturday, May 28, at 2:48 a.m. following a chase that began near the intersection of Monroe and Longbridge roads.

The chase spanned approximately 15 miles, ending at Park Place Apartments in Shelby, where the suspect was arrested, according to an apartment resident.

– 11:30 a.m., a 35-year-old Ferry man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, Arthur Road and 120th Ave., Otto Township.

– 1 p.m., two suspects are under investigation for drug charges, 1000 block of Winston Rd., Otto Township.

– 6:54 p.m., car/deer crash, Taylor and US 31, Hart Township.

– 9 p.m., a 46-year-old Muskegon woman and a 55-year-old Muskegon man were arrested for possession of marijuana, US 31 and VanBuren Road, Weare Township.

– 12:50 a.m., a 27-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, US 31 and Shelby Road, Shelby Township.

– 8:30 a.m., a 35-year-old Grand Rapids man and a 19-year-old Grand Rapids man were arrested for possession of marijuana, Grant Township.

Sunday, May 29, 2016:

– 8 a.m., motorcycle crash, minor injuries, 34th Avenue and Taylor Road, Golden Township.
