HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:
– James William Sydnor, Jr., 49, of 2209 Riordon St., Muskegon Heights, was found guilty April 25 of possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams and sentenced May 23 to 202 days in jail with credit for 202 days served; two years probation; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of delivery of narcotic or cocaine less than 50 grams was dismissed.
– Calvin Michael Chase, 18, of 6335 N. 176th Ave., Walkerville, was
found guilty Oct. 26, 2015 of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and was sentenced May 23 to serve three months forthwith on an 11-month discretionary jail term beginning June 11 with credit for 43 days served; five years probation; Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYTA) status revoked; and he must register as a sex offender. One count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) – victim 13-15 was dismissed.
– Laura Yvonne Routley, 50, of 765 E. Hazel Rd., Hart, was found guilty April 11 of embezzlement $20,000 or more and sentenced May 23 to serve four months forthwith of a nine-month discretionary jail term with credit for one day served; two years probation; $60,640.92 restitution; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Jacqelynn Megan Rogers, 31, of 320
E Main St., Hart, was found guilty April 11 of illegal use of a financial transaction device and sentenced May 23 to serve 30 days forthwith of a six-month discretionary jail term with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; and $685.36 in fines, costs and restitution.
– Kimberly Ann Nicosia, 29, of 710 E. Main St., Hart, was found guilty April 11 of embezzlement $1,000-$20,000 and sentenced May 23 to serve 30 days forthwith of a three-month discretionary jail term with credit for one day served; one year probation; $1,590 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Jason Alan Hancock, 45, of 2481 S. Meyers, Ludington, was found
guilty May 23 of second-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and sentenced to serve six months forthwith of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 85 days served; and $750 in fines and costs. One count of third-offense OUIL and one count of operating while license suspended/allowing a suspended person to operate were dismissed.
