Hart man arrested for drunk driving following crash.

servpro_springstead_022616HART — A 20-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after crashing into a pole near Hart Middle School Friday, May 20, at 5:30 p.m., said Hart Police Chief Dan Leimback.

HPD is also investigating a breaking and entering that occurred on the Hart school campus. The front door of a building near the baseball field was broken off its hinges, and a baseball bat was stolen, Leimback said. The break-in was reported to police Sunday, May 22, at 1 p.m.

Friday, May 20, 2016:

– 1:50 a.m., a breaking and entering to a house, 3000 block of Deer Road, Elbridge Township.

– 7:10 p.m., a 39-year-old Mears man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), 56th Avenue and Polk Road, Golden Township.

Saturday, May 21, 2016:

– 1:18 a.m., a 32-year-old Montague man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 80th Avenue and McKinley Road, Grant Township.

– 1:06 p.m., two-car property damage crash, Garfield Road and 198th Avenue, Newfield Township.

– 7:06 p.m., felonious assault, case is under investigation, 4000 block of West Monroe Road, Weare Township.
