Residents encouraged to attend sheriff Q&A session Thursday.

May 18, 2016

Dear Editor:

Have you ever wondered which local candidate you should vote for? Perhaps you have thought there wasn’t enough information on any of the candidates for you to vote intelligently.

There are three candidates running to be the Oceana County Sheriff: Craig Mast, Tim Priese and Leroy Strait. All three candidates are Republicans. All three candidates currently work for the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office. So, who is the best candidate?

All three candidates have agreed to attend a question-and-answer session in order for the public to get to know them better. So come hear the candidates speak to the issues presented to them. The public will be encouraged to submit questions for the candidates during the third phase of the event.

Come join us on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at 7 p.m. at the Shelby High School Auditorium, 641 N. State Street, Shelby, MI 49455.

This event is sponsored by the Oceana Tea Party.
