COLFAX TOWNSHIP — A 34-year-old Walkerville man, who was arrested for domestic violence and on Friend of the Court charges Wednesday afternoon May 11 at the Little Pebama Lake Federal Forest Campground, could face additional charges in connection to stolen property that Oceana County Sheriff’s deputies recovered at the scene, said Lt. Craig Mast of the sheriff’s office.
Bobby Jo Scheel was arraigned in 78th District Court.
After arriving at the scene for the alleged domestic assault, deputies were informed of potentially stolen property, Mast said.
Deputies recovered a gas-powered generator that was recently stolen and a Husqvarna-brand chainsaw that was stolen from the Oceana County Road Commission barn on M 20 approximately a year ago, Mast said.
