SHELBY — Lt. Craig Mast (R-Hart), Undersheriff Tim Priese (R-New Era) and
Deputy Leroy Strait (R-Montague) are vying for the office of Oceana County Sheriff.
All three candidates will attend a question-and-answer session in order to allow the public to get to know them better.
The event is free to the public and is set for Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the Shelby High School Auditorium, at 641 N. State St.
The public will be encouraged to submit questions for the candidates during the third phase of this event.
The informative evening is sponsored by the Oceana Tea Party.
