Police arrest 4 suspects for fraud, 5 for MIP.

NEW ERA — Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post arrested four suspects for fraud Friday, April 8, at 3:05 p.m. in the 4000 block of First Street.

Arrested were a 24-year-old Hart woman, an 18-year-old Muskegon woman, a 22-year-old Hart man and a 26-year-old Clarksville, Mich. man. No other details about the case were immediately available.

In an unrelated incident, MSP arrested five suspects for minor in possession (MIP) of alcohol Saturday, April 9, at 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of North 136th Avenue in Elbridge Township. Those arrested include: two 18-year-old Hart men, an 18-year-old Hart woman, a 20-year-old Hart woman and a 17-year-old Mears man.
