HART — The 2008 Chevrolet Impala that was stolen from the parking lot of the Companion Animal Clinic on South Oceana Drive in Shelby Township last week was recovered Monday night, March 14, in Muskegon, according to Lt. Craig Mast of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.
“MPD (Muskegon Police Department) recovered it last night,” Mast said. The police report is being forwarded to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office to request a warrant for a suspect.
The keys were left in the ignition, so a local repair shop could pick up the car to put new tires on it. The vehicle’s owner noticed the car was stolen and contacted police.
The tan, four-door Impala is valued at approximately $8,000.
