78th District Court sentencings.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Adam Troy Russell, 42, of 3149 Skeels Rd., Holton, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 26 to receiving and concealing stolen property less than $200 and was sentenced, March 7, to 93 days discretionary jail for one year to ensure compliance; $350 in restitution; and $450 in fines and costs.
  • Ryan Andrew Gonzales, 23, of 8878 Holton Duck Lake Rd., Holton, was found guilty, March 7, of possession of marijuana and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year and $250 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). He was also found guilty, March 7, of breaking and entering – illegal entry and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $250 in fines and costs.
  • Michael Groenewoud, 49, of 8224 116th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty, March 7, of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.
