Acclaimed author to present memoir writing workshop.

HART — Award-winning author Mardi Jo Link will provide her writing expertise during a “Yes, You CAN Write a Memoir” writers’ workshop co-sponsored by the Hart and Shelby area district libraries Thursday, April 7, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Hart Community Center (inside city hall).

A two-time winner of the Michigan Notable Book Award, Link has authored three true crime books and two memoirs. Her first memoir, “Bootstrapper,” has been optioned as a motion picture.
