HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– David Theodore McDaniel, 47, of 403 Lincoln St., Hart, pleaded “no contest” March 1 to disorderly person – obscene conduct and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time if imposed; and a $75 fine.

– Timothy Scott Robeck, 29, of 3777 E. Loop Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Aug. 24 of domestic violence and received a delayed sentence Feb. 29 of 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Leobardo Velazquez Oviedo, 23, of 35 1st St., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 29 of operating while impaired and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time if imposed; must complete substance abuse evaluation recommendation; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of the State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of driving while license not valid were dismissed.

– Thomas Dean Ragen, 32, of 2222 Osborne, Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 29 of second-offense DWLS and sentenced to nine days in jail, serving three weekends; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time if imposed; and $440 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without insurance and one count of unlawful use of a license plate were dismissed.

– Joseph Brandon Armstrong, 41, of 7701 Old Channel Trail, Montague, was found guilty Feb. 29 of non-sufficient fund (NSF) check $100 or less and sentenced to $265 in restitution; $400 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; and credit for time if imposed. One count of NSF check $100-$500 was dismissed.

– Matthew Gregory Small, 40, of 65733 16th Ave., South Haven, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 29 of disorderly person – drunk and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time if imposed; and $225 in fines and costs.
