HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Raymond Otis Riddell, 39, of 4581 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 22 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Bernabe Luevano, 23, of 21 Michigan Ave., Apt. 21, Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 25 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse evaluation recommendation; and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed.

– Yolanda Castillo, 55, of 5551 S. 200th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 22 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $445 in fines, costs and restitution.

– James Edward Shafer, 65, of 2791 S. 24th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 22 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse recommendation; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC dismissed.

– Ty Michael Uptmor, 30, of 3827 White River Dr., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 22 of improper transport of medical marijuana and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Joanna Marie Gawronski, 27, of 1168 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 22 of non-sufficient fund check $100-$500 and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; $512 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Dawn Marie Gaultney, 56, of 2524 W. Meadow Lane, Rothbury, was found guilty Feb. 22 of operating a motor vehicle without security and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Raymundo Molina-Sanchez, 33, of 261 W. Forest Ave., Muskegon was found guilty Feb. 22 of operating while impaired and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse evaluation recommendation; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of driving with an improper license were dismissed.

– Mary Lou Fuller, 34, of 253 Walnut St., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 22 of domestic violence and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; no contact with the victim; six months probation; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to testing, counseling and searches as required by probation; and $725 in fines and costs.

– Michael Jeffrey Parsons, 29, of 6622 E. VanBuren Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Feb. 22 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.

– Jorge Valentine Garcia, 35, of 778 Yale Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty Feb. 22 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; outpatient treatment; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to testing, counseling and searches as required by probation; and $1,780 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of fourth-degree fleeing and eluding a police officer was dismissed.

– Arnulfo Trevino, Jr., 36, of 2682 W. Skeels Rd., Montague, was found guilty Feb. 22 of assault and battery and sentenced to six days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; no contact with the victim; 60 days probation; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Christopher Lee Merriman, 36, of 4427 176th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Feb. 22 of attempted failure to register as a sex offender and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of failure to register as a sex offender was dismissed.
