HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Eric William Tatro, 20, of 5333 148th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 8 of firearms – aimed discharge without malice and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; a $75 fine; and must forfeit weapon to the state. Two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon were dismissed.

– Josh Joseph Tatro, 19, of 5333 148th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Dec. 28 of firearms – aimed discharge without malice and sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days served; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; a $75 fine; and must forfeit weapon to the state. Three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon were dismissed.

– Heidi Faith-Michelle Foster, 44, of 408 N. Main St., Scottville, was found guilty Feb. 9 of disorderly person – drunk and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed.

– Mercedes Destiny Suarez, 19, of 207 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 9 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– William David Schilz, 42, of 2725 Forrest St., Lot 22, Rothbury, was found guilty Feb. 8 domestic violence and received an amended sentenced of 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; no contact with the victim; $725 in fines and costs; not to purchase/possess a firearm; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to counseling ordered by his probation officer.

– James David Lunn, 51, of 1431 S. 48th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 4 of possession of marijuana and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of delivery/manufacture of marijuana was dismissed.

– Charley Rey Payne, 23, of 7613 S. 100th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Feb. 9 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– John Joseph Friday, 67, of 6 St. John’s Court, Naples, Florida, was found guilty Feb. 8 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Kyle Lee Tariske, 24, of 150 W. Main St., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 25 of embezzlement – agent or trustee $200-$1,000 and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $1,150 in fines, costs and restitution.
