‘Let It Snow’ at Hesperia Community Library.

February 4, 2016

snowHESPERIA — Patrons are encouraged to join the winter reading club for adults at the Hesperia Community Library.

This will be the fourth year the library has hosted a winter reading club for adults. The contest runs Feb. 12 through March 24. Registration at the library begins Feb. 10.

“We want to encourage our patrons to become a little more adventurous in their reading choices,” said Library Director Kay Brennan. Winter is the perfect time to select something you might not usually read and give it a try.

The library encourages readers to broaden their search for stories, real or unreal.

The library has a wide variety of activities and tasks to help you earn entries into the prize drawings. Activities include building a snowman in the park; attending a book discussion; playing Book Bingo; or entering the Reading Challenge. Amazon and Barnes and Noble gift cards are included in the prizes. This event is for adults who are Hesperia library patrons.
