HART — The case against a 22-year-old Grand Haven man accused of unarmed robbery is set for trial in 27th Circuit Court next month.

Tazz Lee-Jim Robinson, of 13541 Pinewood Dr., appeared in court Monday, Feb. 1, with his attorney, Timothy Hayes, for a pretrial hearing.

“Allegedly he and friends cornered a kid in an alleyway behind the Rothbury Wesco and took some of his belongings,” stated Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon.

Robinson was remanded to jail awaiting trial, which begins March 1.

Unarmed robbery is a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
