HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 22, of 13 N. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 30 tampering with an electronic monitoring device and sentenced Jan. 20 to serve five months forthwith of an 11-month discretionary jail sentence, with credit for 76 days served; and $400 in fines and costs.

 

Anthony Joseph Aguilera, 37, of 6588 S. 50th St., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 7 of delivery of a schedule 5 drug and sentenced Jan. 20 to serve three months

forthwith of a nine-month discretionary jail sentence, with credit for eight days served; one year probation; $400 in fines and costs; and driver’s license suspended 60 days/restricted 305 days. Counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC); second-degree CSC and delivery of a schedule 4 drug to a minor were dismissed.

Jason Charles Canavan, 29, of 5823 N. 192nd Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Nov. 23 of possession of meth. He was sentenced Jan. 20 to 13 months to 10 years in prison, with credit for 92 days served in jail; and $258 in fines and costs. Sentence runs concurrently to Newaygo County sentence.

 

Cody Tyler, 22, of 666 W. Filmore Rd., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation

and sentenced Jan. 20 to 14 months to two years in prison, with credit for 344 days served in jail; and $237.60 in fines and costs. Probation is revoked. Probation stems from an Oct. 31, 2011 conviction of fourth-degree CSC.

Jackie Lee Knight, 29, of 790 S. 144th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 8 of assault with a weapon and malicious destruction of property (MDOP) $200-$1,000. She was sentenced Jan. 20 to serve four weekends forthwith of a 90-day discretionary jail sentence, with credit for two days served; one year probation; no contact with victim; and $450 in fines and costs.

Marlon Demario Ezell, 27, of 1192 Sanford St., Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 9 possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. He was sentenced Jan. 20 to serve 30 days forthwith of a one-year discretionary jail sentence, with credit for two days served; one year probation; driver’s license suspended 60 days/restricted 305 days; and $400 in fines and costs.

Christopher Ranzell Edwards, 29, of 7128 S. 120th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Nov. 23 of child sexually-abusive material. He was sentenced Jan. 20 to serve nine months forthwith of a one-year discretionary jail term; and $198 in fines and costs. One count of child sexually-abusive material was dismissed. Sentence runs concurrently with Muskegon County’s 14th Circuit Court sentence.

Sean W. Johnson, 30, of 2857 E. White Lake Dr., Twin Lake, was found guilty Nov. 9 of delivery/manufacture of marijuana. He was sentenced Jan. 20 to serve 45 days forthwith of a one-year discretionary jail sentence, with credit for 10 days served; $400 in fines and costs; 18 months probation; and driver’s license suspended 30 days/restricted 150 days. One count of meth possession was dismissed.
