HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

Alejandro Jaramillo, 38, of 450 S. Sheridan Ave., Remus, was found guilty Jan. 25 of assault and battery and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; $925 in fines and costs; may not purchase/possess a firearm; subject to counseling, testing and searches required by probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; and no contact with the victim.

Jared Theodore Greiner, 31, of 53 ½ State St., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 26 to use of marijuana and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted 150 days; and $450 in fines and costs. Counts of possession of marijuana and assault and battery were dismissed.

James David Brant, 58, of 5302 S. 184th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 25 of second-offense domestic violence and sentenced to six months probation; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; $925 in fines and costs; may not purchase/possess a firearm; subject to counseling, testing and searches required by probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; and no contact with the victim.

Anthony Joseph Aguilera, 37, of 6588 S. 50th St., Montague, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 26 to assault and battery and sentenced to 93 days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and a $75 fine.

Dustin Wade Schilz, 33, of 3383 Webster Rd., Montague, was found guilty Jan. 25 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). In a separate file, he was found guilty of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,140 in fines and costs. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.

Dale Michael Wakefield, 22, of 8333 Muniz Ave., Newaygo, was found  guilty Jan. 25 of operating a motor vehicle without security and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of DWLS dismissed.

Dawn Nicole Hammersley, 39, of 7462 S, 64th Ave., Montague, was found guilty Jan. 25 of allowing a person under the influence to operate and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

Kam Tinkham Norrod, 44, of 13319 White Spruce Court, Holland, was found guilty Jan. 25 of operating a motor vehicle without security and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

Leodan Reyna, 24, of 78 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 25 of operating a motor vehicle without security and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

Amy Jo Spring, 32, of 11438 Apple Dr., Nunica, was found guilty Jan. 25 of operating while impaired and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; AHSE; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
