Police seek info regarding stolen snowmobile.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information in regard to a 1997 Arctic Cat snowmobile that was stolen from the 2600 block of West Webster Road Saturday, Jan. 23, at 7 a.m.

“The victim heard his sled start up and drive away,” said Lt. Craig Mast. He went outside and found the tracks. Deputies then attempted to follow the tracks but lost them at the William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Rail Trail, Mast said.

The snowmobile is described as being in “poor condition,” Mast said, and has an old registration of LY5738.
