HART — The 21-year-old Shelby man accused of crashing through a brick wall and smashing into four cars at the Meyers Chevrolet car dealership in New Era, Nov. 23, was arraigned this week in 78th District Court on misdemeanor charges of second-offense operating while intoxicated and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), according to court records.

Isidoro Flores-Gomez, of 263 W. 6th St., was arrested Dec. 18 on a warrant issued by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office. A pretrial is scheduled for Jan. 27 at 3 p.m.

Flores-Gomez’s bail was set at $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent, which he posted, according to his court file.

He was hospitalized for a broken femur and was not immediately arrested because of his injuries. No one else was injured in the crash.
