Great gift idea: Calendar features library’s 100-year history.

HESPERIA — Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Hesperia Community Library with a 2016 commemorative calendar.

The Friends of the Library have published a calendar featuring photos of the history of the library. This calendar contains all of the important dates for 2016, including those for the Sesquicentennial celebration for the Village of Hesperia. You will be able to plan your summer around the family-fun events in July and August. Each month has illustrations that highlight some event or feature of the library.

Photos include an old library card as well as the first home of the library and information about the Ladies Literary Club.  

The Friends of the Library have decided to make this a limited printing, and only 200 copies will be available. You can pick up your copy at the Hesperia Community Library for only $5. These make great secret Santa gifts or stocking stuffers. The local historian in your life will also enjoy this gift that lasts all year.
