78th District Court arraignments include child abuse, fraud

HART — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 78th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Couturier

– Steven Lee Couturier, 34, of 5631 S. Sagola Trail, New Era, was arrested Dec. 4 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of third-degree child abuse. Preliminary conference: Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Stacey Dee Wilkinson, 36, of 249 Riley St., Hesperia, was arrested Dec. 10 by OCSO for a felony of fraud/check – no account. Preliminary conference: Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Matthew Allen Schwing, 43, of 3330 Murl St., Muskegon; Nov. 16; OCSO; operating under the influence liquor (OUIL) with an occupant under 16 years old. Pretrial: Jan. 12 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Kyle Lee Tariske, 24, of 150 W. Main St., Apt. 3, Hart; Dec. 2; Hart Police Department (HPD); embezzlement agent or trustee – $200-$1,000. Pretrial: Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Richard Thomas Welch, 36, of 5242 Jay Rd., Whitehall; Dec. 7; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating without security. Pretrial: Jan. 5 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

– Jeffrey Daniel Lotz, 18, of 23 S. Winter St., Apt. C, Hesperia; Dec. 11; MSP; operating without security. Pretrial: Jan. 5 at 9:45 a.m.
