78th District Court sentencings

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Bernabe Luevano, 23, of 21 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Dec. 14 of disorderly person – drunk. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $100 in fines and costs. One count of consuming liquor on a public highway was dismissed.

– Justin Everette Harmon, 22, of 3122 W. Tahoe Trail, New Era, was found guilty Dec. 14 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $140 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Geni Brandy Straub, 39, of 7125 Driftwood, Rothbury, was found guilty Dec. 14 of operating while intoxicated. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; continue with AA counseling while in jail; and $215 in fines and costs. Restitution left open for 90 days. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Austin Michael Nead, 19, of 6659 E. Clock Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Nov. 23 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,040 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
