HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 22, of 13 N. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 23 of probation violation. He was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 210 days served; $198 in fines and costs; and probation is revoked. His probation stems from a Dec. 2, 2013 conviction of receiving and concealing stolen guns.

William Craig Buchanan, 29, of 7736 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 12 of malicious destruction of turf/trees/shrubs $1,000-$20,000. He was sentenced Nov. 23 to serve four months up front of a one-year discretionary jail sentence with credit for 64 days served; two years probation; and $400 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved with a hearing set for Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. One count of unlawful driving away of an automobile was dismissed.

Joseph Marion Terheggen, 55, of 5881 S. 48th Ave., New Era, was found guilty with a “no contest” plea, Oct. 12, of receiving and concealing property $1,000-$20,000. He was sentenced Nov. 23 to serve 30 days up front of an 11-month discretionary jail term, with credit for one day served; three years probation; and $500 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved, and a hearing is set for Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. Two counts of receiving and concealing property $1,000-$20,000 were dismissed.

Randy Lee Ellis, 60, of 14 S. Dangl, Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 12 of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL). He was sentenced Nov. 23 to serve one year in jail with credit for two days served; two years probation; and $750 in fines and costs.
