78th District Court sentencings

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Zachariah Thomas Dood, 29, of 5773 W. 6th St., Mears, was found guilty Nov. 16 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; take name off title within 30 days or immobilize within 90 days; $1,665 in fines and costs; six months probation; not to purchase or possess a firearm; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to counseling, testing and searches as required by probation. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Richard Dean Pickworth, 45, of 8326 Spicerville Hwy., Eaton Rapids, was found guilty Nov. 16 of use of marijuana and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served; $400 in fines and costs; and driver’s license suspended six months; restricted after 30 days.
