Warrant request sent to prosecutor for quad driver

HART — Police are seeking charges against a 53-year-old man, who allegedly assaulted a property owner Nov. 5 in Grant Township with his quad during a trespassing dispute that was captured on video.

The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office sent a warrant review request to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office, Prosecutor Joseph Bizon said.  

“The complaint is presented as a trespassing and assault complaint,” Bizon said. If charges are issued and the suspect is arraigned, more information  about the suspect will be released, he said.
