78th District Court arraignments

HART — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 78th District Court Magistrate:

Felony

– Clifford Eugene Verschueren, 42, of 4867 W. Adams Rd., Pentwater, was arrested Oct. 25 on a warrant stemming from a June 5 incident investigated by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for a felony of delivery/manufacture of marijuana 5-45 kilograms (more than 20 but less than 200 plants). In a separate file, Verschueren has been charged with a felony count of weapons – possession by a felon and two misdemeanor counts of wildlife conservation – taking deer/bear/turkeys. According to a DNR incident report, he allegedly shot two bucks, July 15 in Weare Township. The venison was discovered during the SSCENT search warrant, according to the report. Preliminary conference: Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety.

Misdemeanors

– Kara Frances Johnson, 24, of 5900 Water Rd., Rothbury, was cited Oct. 16 by the Michigan State Police for a misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle without security. Pretrial: Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Mark Carl Gustafson, 49, of 3563 E. Baker Rd., Shelby, was arrested Oct. 24 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office for a misdemeanor of larceny of trees and shrubs – more than $200/less than $1,000. His arrest stems from an incident Jan. 1, 2014 at Shelby Public Schools, according to his court file. Pretrial: Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Roel Chavero-Ramirez, 32, of 2919 E. Scout Rd., Trailer 5, Hart, was arrested by the Michigan State Police for a misdemeanor of driving while license not valid. Pretrial: Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Isaiah Aspey, 18, of 2308 N. 128th Ave., Hart, was arrested Oct. 23 by the Pentwater Police Department for a misdemeanor of possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Dec. 8 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Cameron Tyler Gust, 24, of 1976 Oak Park Dr., Muskegon, was cited Oct. 3 by OCSO for a misdemeanor of open intoxicants possession. Pretrial: Nov. 10 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Isidoro Flores-Gomez, Jr., 21, of 263 W. 6th St., Shelby, was cited Oct. 12 by the Shelby Police Department for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended. Pretrial: Nov. 10 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.
