Bike shop break-in

OCSO cruiserMEARS — Several items were stolen recently from The Wood Shed Bike Shop, at 1669 N. 56th Ave., during a breaking and entering, according to Lt. Craig Mast of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.

The break-in was reported Monday, Nov. 2, and it occurred some time in the previous two weeks, Mast said.

“The owner came there and noticed several things missing and had been went through,” said Mast.

Items taken include: two bike seats valued at $35 each; six bicycle handgrips valued at $8.99 each; two bicycle frame pumps valued at $19.99 apiece; and two bike head and tail light assemblies valued at $39.99 each.
