Man claims he was hit by car in domestic dispute

HART — Charges are pending in a domestic assault case involving a 34-year-old man who told police he was hit by a car Saturday evening, Oct. 24, on Griswold Street, according to Hart Police Chief Dan Leimback.

The incident was reported Sunday, Oct. 25, at 12:14 a.m., and it is alleged to have occurred Saturday at 7 p.m., the chief said. The man received cuts on his forehead.

The case has been turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015:

4 p.m., (Hart Police Department), assault and battery, no arrests, 800 block of Griswold St., City of Hart. Two subjects received minor injuries to the eye area, case is pending prosecutor’s office review.

Monday, Oct. 26, 2015:

2:18 p.m., (Michigan State Police, Hart post), breaking and entering, video games and console stolen, 5000 block of W. Baseline Rd., Golden Twp.
