He graduated from Copemish High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Army from 1957-59. His 35-year career at MISCO (Howmet) began in 1959, when he was hired as a laborer carrying boxes. He worked his way up to become Process Engineering Department Manager, retiring in 1994 to pursue his favorite interests of hunting, fishing, gardening, card playing and spending time with family. You could never meet a more generous or kind person.

He had such a great sense of humor that if he were writing this obituary, you would be laughing right now. We will never stop missing him.
