Gun found in closet, turned over to police

CLAYBANKS TWP. — A revolver found in a bedroom closet in a residence on 60th Avenue Monday, Aug. 10, at 11:30 a.m. was turned over to the Hart post of the Michigan State Police. MSP is now trying to find the gun’s rightful owner.

The state police also handled the arrest of a 37-year-old Muskegon man charged with operating without insurance Monday at 4:49 p.m. on US-31 near Monroe Road in Weare Township.
