WEARE TWP. — A resident on 92nd Avenue discovered that the battery was stolen from a vehicle after unsuccessfully attempting to start the vehicle Saturday afternoon, Aug. 1, according to the Hart post of the Michigan State Police.

After opening the hood to see what was wrong, it was discovered that the battery had been stolen, police said. The case is under investigation.
