Hesperia man allegedly assaults brother while out on bond for assaulting father

GREENWOOD TWP. — A 23-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on charges of domestic assault and conditional bond violation by Oceana County Sheriff’s Office deputies Wednesday night, July 22, in the 6400 block of East Garfield Road after reportedly assaulting his brother. The suspect was out of jail on a conditional bond for assaulting his father in June, according to OCSO.

In an unrelated incident, the Hart post of the Michigan State Police arrested a 49-year-old Hart man for third-offense operating while intoxicated; second-offense driving while license suspended; improper plates; and no insurance Wednesday at 11:33 p.m. at the intersection of 126th Avenue and Monroe Road in Crystal Township.

MSP also responded to a car-deer crash Wednesday at 11:16 p.m. on Monroe Road and 120th Avenue in Shelby Township.
