HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Joseph Crus Pulsipher, 19, of 21 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty July 20 of assault and battery. He was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $200 in fines and costs.
– Roy James Alltop, 44, of 1158 E. Clock Rd., Hart, was found guilty July 20 of assault and battery. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Stephanie Marie Wallace, 36, of 13342 Forrest Park Rd., Grand Haven, was found guilty July 21 of operating while impaired. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; must show completion of substance abuse counseling currently enrolled in; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– David Clarence Kuikstra, 45, of 2968 Meyer Ave. SW, Grand Haven, was found guilty July 21 of possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $400 in fines and costs. In a plea agreement, the prosecution agreed to not enhance the charge to a second-offense felony.
– Jesica Marie Albiter, 31, of 2446 Whitetail Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty July 20 of unlawful use of license plates and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $125 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Ty Michael Uptmor, 29, of 3827 White River Dr., Hesperia, was found guilty July 20 of operating without insurance and sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
